Itinerary in detail

Arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to hotel by private tour guide with signboard and transfer from airport to hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.

In the afternoon at 16:00, we will have a “Cyclo ride” around Hanoi Old Quarter.

Have dinner at local restaurant.

Breakfast at hotel, start your day by visiting: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, which tells the life story of the great leader, as well as serves as his final resting place.

House on Stilt where Ho Chi Minh stayed, One Pillar Pagoda, one of the oldest architectures dated back from the 11th century. It rises on a one pillar from the middle of a square lotus pond. Legend has it that Ly Thai Tong had a dream vision Quan Am sitting on a lotus flower and promising him a male child. Thus, he had this pagoda built, itself sitting on a pond like a giant flower on its tall stem;
The next visit to Tran Quoc Pagoda. Continue the city tour with the Temple of Literature – the first university in Vietnam.
After lunch at local restaurant, you will visit Ethnology Museum and then Ngoc Son Temple in Hoan Kiem Lake and Enjoy water puppet show.

Breakfast at hotel, 08:00AM, cruise’s staff (no private guide) will pick up and transfer by shuttle bus of cruise to Halong Bay.

From Hanoi, head East for more than 3 hours to Halong Bay, the pride of the Gulf of Tonkin, a Natural World Heritage as designated by UNESCO in 1994. The road will pass by the Red River delta with green paddyfields and rural villages, where hard-work farmers are busy with their farming jobs, ploughing buffaloes or planting seedling.

Upon arrival in Halong, we’ll take a big boat to cruise the Bay to discover the magnificent beauty of this “Descending-dragon” bay, created by thousands odd-shaped limestone rocks and karst grottoes. After a lunch of fresh seafood on board, we can visit the Surprising Grotto, stop for swimming or kayaking, passing floating villages and approach islets to enjoy their beauty in close distance. Back to the boat for dinner late afternoon.

Evening attend activities on the boat or relax at your own leisure.

Breakfast on boat, The Vietnamese call the “East Sea” by a point-oriented name “Eastern Sea”, so you may guess how miraculous it is seeing the sunrise over the islets of the Bay.

The boat will take us to go about marvelous areas, where almost each islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent, including the Fisherman’s Head, Turtle, the Sail, the Incense Burner Rock, the cute Sea Dog Rock or Cock Fighting Rocks and so on. Lunch on boat.
Check out and get back to the shore for private car & driver only transfer directly to Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi for domestic flight to Hochiminh city.
Upon arrival in Tan Son Nhat Airport, driver pick up and transfer to hotel and check-in and relax.

Overnight in Hochiminh city



After breakfast, we have a whole day discover the city by visitting famous places in Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City – former name Saigon is Vietnam’s largest city. Saigon is a fast paced city with a unique mix of French colonial architecture, Chinese influences, a modern entrepreneurial spirit and numerous temples.

08:00 Start your tour with The Reunification Palace, used to be residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam. In 30 April 1975, the when North Vietnam soldier set foot inside this building with red flag on hand, the whole world knew that Vietnam war was end.
Next stop is War Remnants Museum, on the way stop to visit Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, 2 most famous and oldest of classical French colonial architecture construction was built more than 100 years ago.

War Remnants Museum with many photographs are from both Vietnam and US sources; US military vehicle like tanks, jet, booms display outside.
After lunch and a short rest, we continue city tour by discover eastern side of the city. Giac Lam Pagoda, the oldest one in Ho Chi Minh City with huge Buddha statues system which was built on 1774.
Then ride to Cho Lon (Big Market) and Thien Hau Pagoda which located inside China Town, it’s a place of great historical and cultural importance many of temples, pagodas in surrounding area.
Before tour ends, stop over for shopping at Ben Thanh Market in city center.
Then transfer back your hotel for relax.
Overnight in Hochiminh city


After breakfast, we check out hotel and transfer to Cuchi Tunnels. We stop at a lacquer art factory for the disabled on the way.

We arrive in Cu Chi Tunnels. Then we will watch a propaganda film a wartime propaganda film showing how local guerilla fighters were “American Killing Heroes” (a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed).
We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels in Cuchi. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers.
After that, we transfer back Hochiminh City and have free time for lunch (pay by your own expense).
After lunch, we transfer to airport for departure flight.
