Day 01 | Welcome to Vientiane,Laos

Upon arrival, our friend guide will meet and transfer you to hotel for check in (normally room is available from 2pm ). On your leisure in the afternoon

Day 02 | Vientiane

In a air conditionned minivan, this city guided tour takes you to the main attractions in Vientiane. Vientiane (Viengchang) is an ancient city, situated on the bend on the left bank of the Mekong and the largest city, capital of Laos. You will be transported and guided to all main attractions of the city. Vat Prakeo, Vat Sisaketh, Pathouxai, That Luang…and explore the very extravagant Buddha Park!

Day 03 | Vang Vieng

After breakfast and travel on our private vehicle to Vang Vieng, the journey take 3 – 3 ½ hours. This half or one day tour combines all the activities that Vang Vieng is famous for: kayaking on the Nam Song River surrounded by rugged karsts and beautiful rural scenery andexploring limestone caves. Your will have plenty of opportunities to swim in pools of fresh spring water. Approximately: 2 hours kayaking / 1 hour caving.

Day 04 | Xieng Khuang

It is a long day drive to day to get to Xieng Khaung, the plain of jars area. Along the way we will have a chance to stop and visi ta Hmong villages. It is a sunset time at the plain of jar site

Day 05 | Luang Prabang

This morning we will visit a plainof jars sit2 and spoon making village and come back to town for lunch. After lunch we will travel to Luang Prabang and arrived late afternoon.

Day 06 | Luang Prabang

The first half of the day is spent visiting the museum at the former Royal Palace Museum which was built between 1904 & 1905, during the French colonial times as a residence for King Sisavangvong. This fascinating museum features the original royal chambers, paintings depicting traditional Lao life, a throne room, and four of the old royal cars, including an Easel. We then continue to the monasteries of Wat Xieng Thong which was built by King Sayasettha back in 1565. It is also known as the most beautiful temple in Luang Prabang. The next stop is Wat Visoun temple which was built by King Visounnarath n 1513!

After enjoying lunch we head to Ock Pop Tok weaving center – a Lao fair trade textile enterprise. The next stop is the incredibly scenic Kuang Xi Waterfall which is surrounded with turquoise blue pools and an ideal place for swimming! You will pass by the Free the Bears Center, a rescue center for endangered Asiatic black bears. If available, chat with the centers Program Manager and learn about the pan-Asian organization which provides a home for black bears res-cued from poachers and traffickers Back in Luang Prabang we will visit Wat Phousi to enjoy the rewarding view of the city.

Day 07 | Luang Prabang

The Pak Ou Caves are among the most revered holy sites in Laos! A river trip on the Mekong to this famous attraction near Luang Prabang offers a pleasant boat cruise that combines a visit of the culturally important caves with a superb day out amongst the fabulous riverside landscapes and local villages.

Day 08 | Departure

This morning we will visit Pha Tad Ke, after arrival at the boat landing and take a boat to the site, Once the boat launches you will head downstream and stop off at multiple destinations to learn about Lao botany. A beautiful picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the  shade at mid-day. After lunch the boat will return up stream to Pha Tad Ke Botanical Garden. Upon arriving at Pha Tad Ke you will be presented with a refreshing glass of ice tea.

To finish the tour enjoy a walk around Pha Tad Ke at your leisure, with the opportunity to identifying plants, you may have seen earlier in the day, before heading back to Luang Prabang.
