Day 1: Hanoi arrival (-/-/-)

Amici Miei P.T.A  driver will welcome you with the Amici Miei Phuket Travel Agency logo & your name on signboard at the airport and drive you to the hotel, it takes about 30 min to get to the hotel.

The rest of day will be your own.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B/L/-)

After breakfast, our guide and driver pick you up at the hotel lobby for a full day exploring Hanoi. The first destination is the most highlights of Hanoi, which is Ho Chi Minh Complex including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, His House-on-Stilts, One Pillar Pagoda….

We then continue on to the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on the West lake (One of the oldest pagoda in Vietnam).

After lunch, we’ll proceed to visit the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam. We’ll also see Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 – it’s gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. We will take you past Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters, and the beauty of Ngoc Son temple before you enjoy a performance of a traditional Water puppet show.

This fantastic art form originated in northern Vietnam and is best seen in Hanoi. After that, you will have free time for refreshment at local hotel.

20.50 pm: Our driver comes to pick you up from your hotel then transfer to Hanoi Railway Station and catch the night train to Lao Cai station.

Arrive Lao Cai 5:30 or 6:00am.

Day 3: Lao Cai station – Sapa – Ham Rong Mountain – Love Waterfall (B/L/-)

The train arrives at about 6:00 am. Our local guide and driver will welcome you when you exit the train station. Take a morning drive through the clouds by car to Sapa.

After breakfast, tour guide take you to explore the Ham Rong Mountain with unspoiled scenery and spectacular. At here, you can visit many kinds of colorful orchid garden from Indochina area. Passing two Heaven Gate, visitors will be arriving in the top of Ham Rong is called Pitch Cloud, and have panoramic view of Sapa. After lunch, we will take you to Silver Waterfall, the highest in Vietnam with a 300m drop. An ascent to the base of the waterfall will enable you to explore the surrounding landscape. This is a famous spot and is regularly visited by monks to pray.

Continuing our journey, we will drive a further 3km to Tram Ton Pass, the highest road in Vietnam at approximately 2000m above sea level. At this height you will feel a drop in temperature but the views are truly stunning, and you will have the opportunity to stretch your legs, explore and take photographs. A further 3km drive will take you to the start point of your next walk, a descent through the jungle to the Love Waterfall & Golden Stream. This area is known for cardamom crops, used for medicine, cooking and a significant source of income for the minority people.

Day 4: Sapa – Hanoi by bus with a long trek Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B/L/-)

Have breakfast at hotel and prepare light pack for trekking

8.00 am: A short drive to Y Linh Ho then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain after that heading to Ta Van village – home of Dzay ethnic people.

Trekking distance is about 9 kms and it lasts for 3.5 hours

11.30: Bus picks you up at Ta Van Bridge to Sapa.

After lunch, you will be free for shopping at market before coming back to Hanoi by bus (about 5.5 hours).

Day 5: Hanoi – Bai Tu Long Bay – Thien Canh Son Cave – Cong Do Sleeping Area (B/L/D) –

07.40: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi

11.45–12.15: Embark at Hon Gai International harbor.

12.30–13.00: Embark on the boat. Enjoy welcome drink as

Cruise Manager gives you a brief overview of the itinerary and important safety guideline. Check in your cabin.

13.30–14.30: Have lunch while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay; Start sailing among famous Islets (Indochina studio, Am Islet…) of Bai Tu Long Bay, the wildest beauty with the panoramic natural views.

15.00–16.30: Visit and explore the well-hidden Co Cave (known as Thien Canh Son Cave) where you can hiking to the middle of the mountain to see the wild and mysterious beautiful cave, contemplate numerous

sparkling stalactites appear like ‘hanging lamps’ inside the Cave. (No swimming).

Return to the boat and enjoy Happy hour. You will have 30% discount off from the special menu drinks including of cocktail, mock-tail and mixed drinks (from 16.30 pm to 19.00 pm.).

16.30–17.30: Enjoy kayaking and relaxing on the cruise in Cong Do Area.

17.30: Take part in carving flowers on the sundeck.

18.00–19.00: Attend our chef’s cooking demonstration and try your skills in the art of traditional Vietnamese cooking (spring roll).

19.00-21.00: Dinner is served in the restaurant. You can enjoy the charm of Bai Tu Long Bay at night.

21.00-22.00: Enjoy evening activities (Squid Fishing, Movie Night, Board Games, Massage & Spa services) or relax at the leisure then overnight at private cabin at Cong Do area.

Day 6: Cong Do Sleeping – Area Vung Vieng fishing village – Vinashin Tourist Harbor -Hanoi – Fly to Danang – Hoi An (Br/-/-)

06.30-07.00: Welcome a new day with an amazing dawn on Bai Tu Long Bay. Refresh your body and soul with a Tai-chi session on the sundeck.

07.00-07.30: Catch the morning view of seascape while enjoying the breakfast with cookies and tea, café in the restaurant.

07.30-08.30: Visit Vung Vieng fishing village – the famous fishing farm by bamboo boat and discover life of local people living on the surface of Halong Bay. (No swimming).

08.30-9.30: Pack up the luggage and check out of the cabin.

09.30-10.40: Enjoy the brunch in the restaurant while cruising back to Vinashin tourist harbor.

11.00: Disembark from boat. You will come back to Hanoi for a flight to Danang. On arrival, you will be picked up, then transfer to your hotel in Hoi An.

Day 7: Hoi An Walking Tour (B/L/-)

After breakfast, you will take part in an important aspect of the Vietnamese culture. Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel, we will move on to the home of a local lantern raftsman.

There, we will have a hands-on workshop to learn the traditional art of lantern making. Lantern making in Hoi An is recognized as one of nine traditional craft villages in Vietnam.

The lanterns are made of bamboos and silks. So, in order to make beautiful and durable lanterns, craft men choose these materials carefully. You will be taught how to make lanterns with the enthusiastic instructions from the craft men. We then move to the center of Hoi An city where you will visit the ways of decorating many different colorful lanterns. You will have a walking tour around Hoi An ancient town for more exploration with old constructions: Japanese Bridge, Sa Huynh Museum, Tan Ky Old House…

At the end of afternoon, take a wooden boat sailing along the major branch of the lower section of Thu Bon River to enjoy the beautiful sightseeing, fishing nets and many boats bobbing on the waters.

Day 8: Hoi An free (B/-/-)

Free today to do your own exploring, pick up your made to measure clothes, or relax on the beautiful Cua Dai beach. You can also take an opportunity to join a cooking class to learn about the arts of

Vietnam culinary; visiting local market, choosing ingredients and preparing and cooking Hoi An special dishes. This is a great fun.

Hoi An cooking class

After breakfast, we start the day (8.15am) with a welcome drink at Hai Café.

Visit Hoi An’s colourful market, and experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy market. We will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about all the ingredients

to be used in the cooking lesson later. We board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Cooking School. This is a chance to view local river life, so make sure your camera is handy.

On arrival, we explore the cooking school’s herb garden, before learning about some of Hoi An’s and Vietnam’s well-known dishes. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours – the Red Bridge chefs first demonstrate each dish before we prepare the same dish ourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration). After the lesson, we sit down and eat what we have cooked.

Bring your swimsuit and after the cooking tour has finished relax and enjoy free use of our 20 metre swimming pool – towels and showers provided.


Hoi An Eco Tour – Farming and Fishing Life

After breakfast, you will be picked up at hotel by our guide and driver on a mini-van and then you will be transferred to bike station in the countryside to start your biking route – Cycle to a local farming village traveling along picturesque country roads (If you don’t know how to ride bicycles, please use our scooter “XE OM” services and you pay the extra 6 euro)

– Share in the daily work life of local farmers – hoeing and a soil, watering veggie at an organic herb garden, riding water buffalo in the field and enjoy the freshest air of the countryside beauty.

– Board the boat and cruise to the mouth of the river where it meets the Cua Dai Sea to learn and try your hand at local traditional fishing techniques using round and cast nets. Learn to paddle the strange

and unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats.

– Explore the now tranquil coconut-palm flanked waterways of a past war and hear of the extreme conditions endured by soldiers on both sides.

– Jungle walk and join for a mock battle with mud attack for fun.

– Back on-board our boat, enjoy lunch and cold beer or soft drink

Day 9: Hoi An – Danang – Hue (B/-/-)

Morning is free at leisure. In the afternoon, you will leave Hoi An for Hue, the last imperial capital of Vietnam, well-known for magnific architecture, pagodas and royal tombs laid in small villages and surrounding hills and one of the most popular cities for all the Vietnam Tours.

Drive through Danang and visit the Cham Museum, which contains the finest collection of Cham sculptures in the world and Marble Mountain. Here you will move up to Thuy Son (‘Water’ Mountain)

by elevator (climbing is available upon your request) and enjoy the panoramic view of the nearby countryside. You also visit Huyen Khong cave before entering Tam Thai and Linh Ung pagodas

where you will be rewarded by great city views and amazed by the main cave which houses a beautiful Cham Buddha sitting under a natural shaft of light.

After that, climbing over the Pass of Ocean Clouds and dropping down to the wonderfully photogenic fishing village of Lang Co. Continue one hour to the city of Hue.

Day 10: Hue city tour (B/L/-)

After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel and start the tour with cruising on the Perfume

River. Visit the ancient and sacred Thien Mu Pagoda.

Visit the Citadel – The palaces of the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945), the last dynasty of Vietnam – Noon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Imperial Ancestral Temple and Hue Royal Antiques Museum.

Then, visit and shopping at Dong Ba Market. Lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, you will visit Minh Mang tomb, one of the most interesting emperor tombs in Hue.

We visit Khai Dinh Tomb. The tomb represents a fusion of traditional Vietnamese style and modern influence. The tomb is almost entirely made of concrete and includes many European architectural

details.  And go to Conical hat village, Incense stick village

Day 11: Hue – Fly to Saigon – City tour (B/L/-)

Breakfast is at the hotel. Transferred to the airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

In the afternoon, you will visit Notre Dame Cathedral and Saigon Post Office, two of the best highlights of old Saigon architecture.

Walk to the nearby Reunification Palace, witness of the historic events of old Saigon and famous for its architectural characteristics.

Discover the very popular War Remnants Museum, the one that gathers a comprehensive collection of the machinery, weapons, photographs and documentation of the Vietnam wars.

Stop by the Jade Emperor Pagoda, one of the most spectacularly colorful temples, dedicated to King of Heaven and filled with exquisite and phantasmal statues. Ends of the tour at Ben Thanh market.

Day 12: Tay Ninh – Cu Chi Tunnel (B/-/-)

In the morning, we travel by car for 100km to Tay Ninh to visit Tay Ninh Great Temple, the headquarter of the indigenous religion of Cao Dai. At noon, when the mass is in session, you’ll have a chance of discovering this beautiful architecture and the eclectic mixture of Cao Dai philosophy.

After lunch, you will visit The famous Cu Chi Tunnel system which was created to assist the Vietnamese Revolutionists against the French in 1948. It was an underground city with living areas, kitchens, storage,

weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers etc and in certain areas, housed up to 10,000 people, who virtually lived underground for years.

After a video introduction and a guided tour through the grounds, you will have the opportunity to take part in the unique experience of guerillas living underground during the war, with a crawl through 20/30/50 meters of the tunnel system.

Taste typical boiled tapioca and hot tea before you come back to Saigon.

•Visit a quite village where you can have a short walk to experience real Delta village life

•Take Xe Loi ride (a kind of modern motorized rickshaw) or cycling tour to explore around village under coconut row.
