Hoi An

Hoi An is a town located just south of Hue and Da Nang, to visit for its history, testimony that we find in the buildings, beautiful, it seems that its name means "city of the sea" but scholars are discordant.
The old town of Hoi An has been declared "Unesco Heritage" as a well-preserved sample of commercial port. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have come together to produce this unique heritage site.
Once this country was known as Faifo, with over 2000 years of history, it was the main port of the Kingdom of Cham, which controlled the strategic spice trade with Indonesia from the 7th to the 10th century and was an important international port in the 16th and 17th centuries - and foreign influences are perceptible to this day.
