Located on the south-central coast of Vietnam, Nha Trang is a haven of city and sea, the fashionable skyscrapers dot the center, white sand beaches line the coast and the temples and palaces are more 'inland' on the hills.
It's hard not to fall in love with Nha Trang and it's hard to understand: the sandy and palm-covered beaches stretch for miles, the tropical climate means that the sun almost always shines, except for some humid months between September and December, when the monsoon rains hit hard, but if you go to Nha Trang from January to August you're sure of the sun. But there's more ... unlike its competitors, Mui Ne and Phu Quoc, Nha Trang is cosmopolitan. Trendy restaurants and boutiques fill the well-kept beach promenade of Tran Phu Street, while the vibrant nightlife scene rises at sunset. The options for dining and being late are as endless as in any lively city, with the added luxury of the white sandy beaches nearby. In short, Nha Trang is cosmopolitan as you want it to be, a perfect combination of urban and coastal.
