Day 1: arrival in Hanoi (D)

Upon arrival at Hanoi Noi Bai Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to the hotel. The capital of Vietnam, Hanoi, is an elegant and modern city that retains a unique charm of the old world and some of Asia’s most impressive colonial architecture. The numerous lakes and parks give the city a relaxing atmosphere. In the evening there will be a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

2nd day: Hanoi half day trip and Halong Bay (B, L)

Spend your morning with a guided tour of Hanoi by learning about local culture and visiting the city’s main attractions. You will start at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside the Ba Dinh square), visit a one-pillar Pagoda. From here you can reach the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, an archaeological site dating back to the 11th century.
After lunch we will continue to visit the Ethnological Museum (Dom, Mar, Thu and Sat), the Temple of Literature and Quoc Tu Giam. We will also see the first university in Vietnam, built in 1070: its gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing look at Vietnam’s past. We will take you to Hoan Kiem Lake to see the calm waters.

Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon you will be transferred to Halong Bay, considered one of the most spectacular wonders of the natural world. Thousands of towering karst limestone pillars, sculpted by the sea and wind, make the bay an unforgettable sight. Stay in Halong Bay at the hotel.

Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Hue (B, L) Flight

Breakfast at the hotel, then you will board a traditional Vietnamese “junk” boat for a 4-5 hour cruise around the bay. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of this wonder of the world.

The process of erosion and weathering has formed the kings of Halong Bay in the unique shapes you see today. In 2000, UNESCO recognized Halong Bay as a World Heritage Site for the second time because of its geographic and geomorphological values. You will visit Sung Sot Cave and Ti Top Island, or “Surprise Grotto” on the island of Bo Hon. This is one of the largest and most interesting caves in Ha Long Bay. To enter the cave, you will climb a path paved with large blocks of stone obscured by trees and foliage. A seafood lunch will be served on the boat, and in the afternoon you will return to Hanoi. Transfer to Hanoi airport for the flight to Hue. Pick up at Hue airport and transfer to the hotel in Hue. Night in Hue

Day 4: Hue city tour- Hoi An (B, L)

AM: Boat trip on the perfume river to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda considered to be the Royal Pagoda of Nguyen

Dynasty and Imperal Citadel and Minh Mang Tomb. Lunch.

We drive to Hoian, spend time on the beach at Lang Co during the trip, photographing from the HaiVan Pass (The passage of the Sea and Cloud). Arrival in Hoi An. Night in Hoi An.

Day 5: the old city of Hoi An – Saigon (B, L) Flight

In the morning we will organize a trip on the Thu Bon River to visit the villages of pottery artisans of Thanh Ha and the Kim Bong carpentry village.

We continue visiting the village of Lanterne. Here you will have a brief introduction on the history, shape and color of the lanterns, as well as the various stages of their realization. You can create your lantern and keep it as a souvenir.

Continue half a day to explore the city of Hoian: the Japanese covered bridge, the symbol of Hoian. Go back in time to discover the Chinese road with the splendid Phuc Kien Hall and the old Phung Hung house typical of the original Hoian architecture. We will then visit the lively market and the ancient port of Hoi An to explore the rhythm of everyday local life and savor the true colors and flavors of the Orient. Finally, we visit the pagoda Phuc Thanh – the oldest pagoda in Hoi An built in 1454 with Chinese monks.

Transfer to Danang airport for evening flight to Saigon.

Day 6: Saigon – Mekong Delta (B, L)

Breakfast then you drive to My Tho with private car. Cross the Mekong river with a motor boat. Boat ride along the small inlets to the estuary of the Mekong river. Motor boat cruise along the natural inlets and visit of a quiet village in the province of Ben Tre. Visit orchards, bees – you will see a real farm, taste natural honey and honey wine, taste tropical fruit, listen to traditional music, and visit a distillery. You will see the production process of coconut candies, flavored candies and coconut pulp. Then back to Hochiminh in the late afternoon. Night in a hotel in Saigon.

Day 7: Saigon – City tour – Departure (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel, visit of Saigon and Cholon (Chinatown), Catheral of Notre Dame, central post office, town hall, war remains museum, Ben Thanh market, Binh Tay market and Thien Hau pagoda.

Then transfer directly to the airport for the evening flight.
